Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country artist for more than 30 years. She was born in Decatur IL on the 23rd of July, 1971. LeAnne Kymes is also among the two youngest Grammy Award recipients. Alison Maria Krauss is an American bluegrass and country musician. Born on the 23rd of July 1971. She started working in the business of music at a very young age. At the age 10, she won local contests, and then recorded her first album. She signed with Rounder Records in 1985 and released her first self-titled album on the label in the year 1987. The group she joined was which she continues to perform, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in 1989.
